EkoTek alarm units have a button that immediately generates an alarm, with accurate location provided by the location beacon from a local Repeater. The alarm is sent to the Hub where it is displayed and forwarded on to EkoTek pagers, EkoTek fixed display units or to an external paging system. Unlike 1-way radio systems, EkoTek's 2-way radio allows the EkoTek Pager to be used to accept the alarm and send a message back to the calling alarm unit that assistance is on its way. |
